Testimonials
I am writing this letter to thank you because my 2 year old son Sean doesn’t know how to write yet. If he could, he’d tell how thankful he was for helping him through a really tough time. You see Sean was extremely colicky at birth. He cried non-stop. My wife Debra and I didn’t know what to do. All we knew was that Sean was in pain and we wanted him to feel better. We tried gripe water, shushing, rocking. There were many, many sleepless nights. Then someone suggested an Osteopath. We brought Sean to see Tema and the difference was almost immediate. Tema worked on Sean’s body to help ease the pressure and pain in his little tummy. We would literally take Sean in crying and he would leave smiling.
To Tema and the rest of the team, thank you so, so much. Your care was instrumental in turning Sean into the happy, healthy, fun loving 2 year old he is today. He looks forward to his visits with Tema and always comes home feeling great. To all you parents out there who don’t know where to turn when your child is crying and in pain because of colic, I have one word for you: Footprints.
Thanks for everything,
Jamie, Debra and of course, Sean.
As a family doctor I was not educated in the complementary medicine model-in fact quite the opposite. A holistic approach is still frowned upon.
I met Tema Stein in July 1995 when an acquaintance suggested her expertise to help with my then 6 month old daughter’s exceptional feeding disorder. My daughter had spent 30 days in hospital with no change in her feeding. Conventional medicine could not find a cause or a treatment that would help other than to insert a g-tube into her stomach so that she could receive her nutrition.
From the moment we walked into Footprints, hope was instilled. Tema, energetic, positive and exceptionally gifted, introduced herself. She laid her hands on my angel, Alana. Within three visits, Alana was able to take almost an entire bottle by mouth. Tema was able to diagnose the problem and solve it, and actually explain it. Why as a doctor did I not know this? Why did none of the medical specialists know this?
I can’t tell you how astounded I still am at Tema’s miracle work, both from the perspective of a mother and as a physician. I have since sent countless patients to her and her clinic for diagnostic and treatment of problems that, as a family doctor, I know, without a doubt, that conventional medicine has not only no knowledge of but also no interest in.
It is sad that the conventional medical approach still refuses to accept and acknowledge osteopathic treatments as complementary and a necessary inclusion in our healthcare model. At least for my patients, and specifically because of Tema Stein, they have hope!
If you are a physician wondering about Footprints Therapy, feel free to contact me further to understand the wealth of knowledge and care available from this clinic.

We started going to Footprints after our daughter, Jessica, had hip surgery at age 4. That was 15 years ago. Not only have the therapists watched our daughter grow up. But they enabled her to take her first steps to now being totally independent in her walker. They helped us lovingly through 3 more orthopaedic surgeries and more.
We have used physiotherapy, occupational therapy, osteopathic manual therapy, yoga, and the list goes on.
Footprints is where therapy is not a chore, but a home away from home, with good therapists who care not only for your child but the whole family.
David, Lynn and Jessica
