Rupal Bhatt
RDI® Program Certified Consultant
Rupal is Certified Consultant of the RDI® program. Since completing her certification in early 2010, she is working with parents to remediate key areas of difficulty for children with ASD. She has seen significant changes in children’s motivation to engage and interact with others, in their desire to communicate and in their availability to learn. These improvements are also a critical first step in tackling the speech and language delays that are so often present. RDI® has allowed her to educate families about autism from a developmental approach. It has been meaningful for her to see the family and child develop a closer relationship while still remediating the core issues of autism. She has worked with non- verbal autistic children to highly verbal and controlling children with Asperger Syndrome.
Rupal provides services at home or office visits. Daycare and school visits can also be arranged, in the form of child observations, consultation with staff or information sessions.
Rupal welcomes the opportunity to speak at schools, to parents, and organizations on Autism about the RDI® program.
